The Week of Fun is wrapped up, and every show ended up getting reviewed by The Stranger’s SLOG writer Kyle Regan. Here is a quote from one that mentions me:

“London’s bit… was my favorite of the night.”

There are lots of other quotes about many of the other people who performed during the week. You can check them out at the Week of Fun blog, with links to the original articles.

Week of Fun Review: “What can a local scene offer? A lot.”

The Stranger blogger Kyle Regan was at The Capitol Club show, kicking off this year’s Week of Fun.

Here are some choice quotes:

“If Carlos Mencia is a barometer of television-worthy comedic skill, what can a local scene offer? A lot it turns out.”

“[We] were rolling for the majority of the show.”

Shout outs went to Hari Kondabolu, Billy Wayne Davis, Brett Hamil, Mike Cummings, and Ross Parsons. Whew!

Oh, and also:

“I think I may have a new favorite thing to hate: hecklers.”

Kudos to you on that, sir.

San Francisco International Comedy Competition

sficc-header

Hey folks!

The latest news is that I’m going to be competing in the San Franciso International Comedy Competition this week. Try typing that name more than once, I dare you. This prestigious competition has hosted competitors over the years like Dana Carvey, Robin Williams, and the guy that did the Taco Bell Chihuahua voice.

I’ll be doing a different show in a different venue in the Bay Area and beyond for five nights. You can click the schedule page above to see exactly when and where. If you’re in the area and want to make it to a show, shoot me an email. I’m going to be documenting the whole thing as part of my Ford Fiesta mission, and I’ll let you see that sweet machine too.
